What We Believe
We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative source of Christian doctrine and precept.
(2 Timothy 3:16)
We believe in one God that exists eternally in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (1 John 5:6-11)
We believe that man-kind was created in the image of God, but because of sin, man-kind without redemption was/is eternally separated from God. (Gen 1:26, Gen 3)
We believe that Jesus the Christ was virgin born - conceived by the Holy Spirit, led a sinless life and voluntarily took on Himself all the sins of man-kind when He died on the cross. (Matt 1:18-20 Galations 4:4-6)
We believe that Jesus rose after His death, and is seated at the right hand of the Father as our Mediator and will return to earth in all power and glory. (Romans 8:34)
We believe people around the world need to accept and believe in the saving power of Jesus Christ, through faith by His shed blood on the cross, to receive the free gift of salvation from their sins. (Eph 2:8-9)
We believe that those who receive the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ are to be assured of their salvation as soon as they trust Christ as their Savior. (1 Peter 1:2-4)
We believe that the assurance of salvation is not based upon any kind of human merit, but is produced through the witness of the Holy Spirit, Who is the believer's Advocate and confirms in the believer the testimony of God. (1 Cor 2:10-16)
We believe in holy Christ like living, empowered by and through the regenerating and renewal of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 8:2-6. Galations 2:20, 1 Peter 1:13-16)
We believe that all believers have a duty to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and dually have concern and meet the need for the hurts and social needs of our fellowmen. (Matt 28:19-20, Acts 1:8)
